Muslims do not believe in the notion of “Son Of God”, but Prophets, and that Jesus too was Prophet, relaying Gods Message to Mankind.

It is very important however to exclude the side of Joseph. His bloodline would would make it so Jesus would not fulfill the prophecy, as it was corrupted. That is why we must only deal with the blood line of Mary, even though both sides trace back to David.
