Genealogical group to host expert at meeting in Fairfield

The Solano County Genealogical Society will have Cath Trendle as its guest speaker at its meeting Saturday.

Trendle is an expert on Scotland genealogical research. She is a professional genealogical instructor and has taught both locally and nationally.

The meeting will be held at 11 a.m. at the Civic Center Library, 1150 Kentucky St., Fairfield, in the Becker-Balm Room.

The Solano County Genealogy Library is at 610 E. Main St., Vacaville. It is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays, Thursdays and the third Saturday of each month.
