Genealogy focus of free seminar

The Ventura County Genealogical Society will host a free Family History Conference from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Sat., April 28 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints, 3501 Loma Vista Road, Ventura.

Teaching staff from the Los Angeles Family History Library will provide classroom instruction on genealogical research at both the beginning and intermediate levels.

Conference participants can also attend the monthly meeting of the Ventura County Genealogical Society at 1 p.m.
