Birmingham, Ala. (PRWEB) August 30, 2012

The Heirloom Registry will be in attendance as an exhibitor at the Federation of Genealogical Societies (FGS) 2012 Conference in Birmingham, Ala.

The FGS conference exhibit hall will be open starting today at 10 a.m. and running until Saturday afternoon.

This year, the event is being held at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex. As always, it will feature a wide variety of Genealogy related activities, including an exhibit hall with dozens of vendors, and workshops conducted by professional genealogists.

Were excited to be at this prestigious conference, and look forward to meeting lots of Genealogy professionals and exhibitors, said Dan Hiestand, Heirloom Registry marketing director. We also hope to talk to folks at our booth who just want to say, hi, and who want to share some of the stories behind their family heirlooms. Thats actually one of the biggest perks of our job.

During the Federation of Genealogical Societies show, Hiestand said the company will be giving away Heirloom Registry stickers to interested attendees at the companys booth (209). Hiestand will also give a short demonstration on how the Registry works on Saturday at 2 p.m.
