LAKE ELSINORE: Genealogical society to host guest speaker – Press

Genealogist Gena Philabert-Ortega will be the guest speaker at the Sept. 13 meeting of the Lake Elsinore Genealogical Society. Her topic is ” I Love Libraries.”

The meeting is 1-3 p.m. in Community Room of Mission Trail Library, 34303 Mission Trail, Wildomar.

Philabert-Ortega holds a Master’ Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master’ degree in Religion and is the editor of the Journal “Crossroads” for the Utah Genealogical Association. She’s also Vice President for the Southern California Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists and director for the State General Alliance.

Also a representative from the Lake Elsinore Genealogical Society will be available at the library in the Meeting Room on the fourth Thursday of each month from 1 – 3 p .m. to assist anyone in the area interested in beginning their genealogy research.
