We the People: New genealogy search program translates in 38 languages

In addition to MyHeritage, records include vital and census records, military records, immigration records, school yearbooks, newspapers and historical books. Many of these records were obtained through the purchase of World Vital Records website last year.

The basic or advanced search can be used to enter your name, relatives’ names, life events (such as birth, marriage or death) and keywords. If you click on a result for a premium collection, you’ll receive a prompt to subscribe or upgrade your free MyHeritage account. Some collections such as the 1940 Census are free to view.

Record matching, another new feature to be added in the next few weeks, will automatically search records and trees, and notify researchers of the results.
