Five certified genealogists will offer free consultations on Dec. 10.

The annual Genealogy Road Show is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the town clerk’s office in town hall.

A news release says, “Have you wanted to find your ancestors, but didn’t know how or where to start? Are you looking for help with your family history? Would you like to know what information is available at Connecticut town halls? The State Library? Online? Historical societies? Genealogical societies?”

Those interested may sign up for a free 30-minute, private consultation. Non-residents are welcome, according to the release. To sign up, visit the clerk’s office, or call 860-647-3037.
