McLean County Genealogical Society meeting is Tuesday

The February meeting of McLean County Genealogical Society will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the old courtroom on the second floor of the McLean County Museum of History building, 200 N. Main St.

James Hoppe of Danvers will discuss the War of 1812 and McLean County, including information on soldiers from the area who served in the war and events that took place.

The event is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
